Meet Our Family

Dr Gary Lazer has more than 10 years experience as a dentist in Sydney. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa and educated in Canada, Gary landed in Bondi Beach in 2011 with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, keen and eager to learn the Australian ropes. Since then Dr. Lazer has refined his craft and completed several post graduate training courses in Invisalign, Dental Implants, Cosmetic Dentistry and more . He continues to invest his time learning and refining his skills. Dr. Lazer has a keen interest in music and uses this to successfully build rapport with his patients and make them feel at ease in his chair. Dr. Lazer also enjoys photography and you may notice some of his photographs adorning the walls of the Bondi Family Dentist clinic.

In his spare time, you will often find Gary on his surfboard, swimming at Bondi Icebergs, or splashing in the ocean with his young children.

Diana qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Oral Health Therapist in the UK in 2012. After meeting Dr. Gary Lazer while travelling in Australia she soon found her bags packed to start a new life here. Diana has experience as both a clinician and a dental practice manager.

At Bondi Family Dentist you will find her both treating patients and/or in the office managing the practice. When she is not at the clinic she is often running after their young children, but loves to escape for a coastal walk when she can!

Dr. Thatiana Salomao completed a Bachelor of Dentistry in her home country of Brazil in 2013. Dr. Salomao has a caring and gentle approach to providing dental treatment. She places a strong emphasis on prevention and believes that if you like your smile you will regain confidence and self-esteem. Dr. Salomao has always been committed to continuing education courses and advanced training in dental aesthetics (cosmetic dentistry), crown and bridge, clear aligners and endodontics (root canal therapy).

In her spare time Thatiana spends time with her friends and doggy – Floss. You will find Thatiana and Floss enjoying the beaches of the Eastern suburbs, or frequenting the local yoga studios.

Yasmin qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Oral Health Therapist in New Zealand in 2021. Yasmin provides a holistic and personalised approach to providing dental treatment. She strongly believes on prevention to maintaining a healthy and beautiful smile. Yasmin makes sure she is up to date with new technology and techniques by continuing education courses and training.

Outside the clinic, you will find Yasmin frequenting the local beaches and doing coastal walks.

The Bondi Family Dentist superstar support team comprises several full and part-time dental assistants and front office coordinators from around the world (7 countries to be exact!). They are responsible for all the nonclinical aspects of running the practice. When you call or visit you will find one of our friendly team greet you with a wide smile, and a positive can-do attitude. No request is too big or small, and we pride ourselves on our customer service skills and willingness to help.
